After her last adventure, Mean Laureen had decided her days of adventure were behind her. She had left for seclusion and began to write her memoirs. She sat at her window looking out reminiscing about the activities she and Arizona Jeff had experienced in the magical land of pins. As she gazed at the rain soaked windows, a shadow appeared in her doorway. A tall man dressed in jeans and shirt. Atop his head was a well-worn fedora that partially hid his face. "Hello Laureen, it has been a while," he said.

"Why Arizona Jeff, what brings you to these parts?" she asked in as nonchalant a tone as she could muster.

Arizona Jeff tossed the August 2, 2002 edition of Daily Sentinel across Mean Laureen's desk. It's headline proclaimed, "Mordecai Returns!"

"It's Ollie, he's gotten himself kidnapped and I think I know where he is," said Arizona. The sound of this comment shook Laureen to the point that she dropped her teacup shattering the pieces across the floor.

"Oh, Jeff! We have to help him!" she exclaimed.

"This will not be an ordinary adventure but rather one that will take us all around the world. We are searching out a mad man who would think nothing of disrupting everything in his path for the sake of an adventure. I won't kid you Laureen, this adventure will have danger and intrigue around every corner. Mordecai must be stopped before it is to late. We've been on adventures before, but this time it's personal! “Grab your gear Mean Laureen, It’s adventure time!” Proclaimed Arizona Jeff and with that he grabbed his bag and began his journey.
