Interleague play featured teams from the American League Westwith visits by the Anaheim Angels and Texas Rangers. The Diamondbacks travelled to the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics. The season ended with a 3-game series at Bank One Ballpark with the San Francisco Giants on September 29 - October 1.
