On Monday April 2, 2007 the Arizona Diamondbacks began the 2007 season starting with a 3-game road series against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. Interleague play featured teams from the American League East with visits by the Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, and Tampa Bay Rays. The Diamondbacks travelled to the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles. The season ended with a 3-game series at Coors Field with the Colorado Rockies on September 28-30. The Diamondbacks would reach the post season sweeping the Chicago Cubs in the National League Divisional Series and being swept by the Colorado Rockies in the National League Championship Series.
